Tax Accountant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Tax Accountant (CPA or EA) to join our team in Maitland, FL.  As a Tax Accountatnt, you will play a key role in assisting with tax preparation for our clients.  This is a seasonal, per diem PT position.

Duties:

-Prepare individual, corporate, partnership, and trust tax returns, including federal and state filings

-IRS correspondence and communications

Requirements:

-In office position

- CPA certification or eligibility preferred but not required

-8-10+ years of experience in tax at a public accounting firm

-Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations

-Proficiency in tax and accounting software, preferably Ultra Tax CS, Workpapers CS and Quickbooks

-Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

-Detail oriented and highly organized
